** It is the student's responsibility to turn in art projects they would like posted to Artsonia. There is a box in the art room to drop off projects and a box to pick up projects once they are posted to Artsonia. The art work must have either the student's first and last name or the student's code assigned by Artsonia. **

I created an Artsonia account for Hill E.S., it is an online childrens' art museum.  Students may have any project we did in art class be added to the website. No student's art work will be posted until the parents/guardians grant permission.  Permission slips were sent home in the Fall.  Once permission is granted it is good for the entire time your child is a student at Hill E.S. (so parents will not need to sign a new permission slip every year)

 

Besides the art museum, the Artsonia website has information on art contests and various awards that students may earn. Parents may buy a variety of products with their child's art work on it.  This is a wonderful keepsake or gift plus it helps fundraise for the art program.

 

A nice advantage of the Artsonia website is how relatives and friends who do not live in the Henderson/Las Vegas area may view  the child's art works. They may also leave comments but no comment will be posted without the parents/guardians approval.  For additional privacy only the student's first name and number code will be used to identify the art works.
