Recent/Current Projects -

First Graders recently completed a weaving inspired by the Tartan patterns from Scotland.  We looked at famous weavings and fabrics from around the world. Tartans are unique criss cross patterns that are used to represent different regions of Scotland, clans (families) and even a few corporations, Burberry, being the most famous.

Each student created their own special tartan pattern. Asked your child what inspired their color and design choices.
